ITALY —> SPAIN
My trip to Italy was absolutely incredible! Better than I ever could’ve hoped or asked for! However, Madrid feels like home to me now and I was definitely ready to stop living out of a duffel bag and come home. Exhausted as I was, I shuffled into my apartment with a big smile on my face and was greeted with a big hug from my host mom (who usually isn’t very affectionate so it was extra sweet).
I was longing for a nap in my freshly made bed, a Skype session with my boyfriend (happy birthday,Tommy!), and some Spanish food. Italian food was absolutely delicious-don’t get me wrong- and when you see my photos you’ll realize that I ate everything in sight. However, there’s only so many carbs a girl eat. That’s why when after my nap I was so incredibly excited when my host mom made her tortilla. Once you’ve had Celia’s tortilla, you’ll get it. Anyways it’s going to take me forever and a day to edit and post all of my photos, then blog about them. PLUS Tommy gets here in 2 days and we are off to Greece next weekend. I may be on a bit of a hiatus until then. We’ll see.
Also I think I came home 75 pounds heavier…. When in Rome, right?
